Work with us!

Sun Moon Farm is seeking to hire 3 interns for the 2024 season.

No farming experience is necessary, but interns do need an ability to adapt and a willingness to work hard, outdoors, and in all conditions. Expect a diverse workload--weeding, planting, harvesting, marketing, delivery, selling. Weekly hours will range from 40 to 60 depending on the time of season and weather.

We offer room and board and a small living stipend. We have also worked with a few college programs to help make a season here eligible for course credit. Interns live in our house and have use of a communal kitchen. No pets. Friends and partners who want to work are welcome! Driver’s license preferred. No smoking.

As Quakers, we live by core testimonies of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and stewardship. No one is obligated to share our religious views, but we do expect applicants to share or be willing to live respectfully by those values.  We are nourished by, and committed to, living in community, so a person who is ready to participate in weekly potlucks, board game nights, house meetings, etc., would be best suited to join us and enjoy their experience here. We also have an 8 year old son that is the most important thing that we plan to grow here.
